as much as I may hate to admit it, I love facebook. not only is a great way to waste some time while photos are loading, it has also put me back in touch with old friends I haven’t seen in years. jane is one of those friends – she and I met around 20 years ago – yikes! she was my first trainer at my first restaurant job ever at phillips harborplace in baltimore. I was shy, clumsy and nervous and probably really annoying (I trained many a girl like me in the years following and let’s just say it’s was never my favorite way to spend my shift) but she was great and we became good friends. but as I was saying, we became facebook friends last year – her profile photo had this cute guy in it and jane looked really happy. when she contacted me earlier this year to inform me that she was engaged to this cute guy and she wanted me to shoot it, I was so excited! the day of their session it rained…. all day. and because they wanted to shoot around camden yards, I was pretty bummed. we were doing a walk through tour of their venue, so the day wasn’t going to be a total wash – but then…. at about 15 minutes before our session, the skies literally parted and the sun came out. their venue, the sports legend museum at camden yards, is so perfect for them – both huge sports fans I loved getting a tour from jane, who is still as beautiful as ever if not more so. then we went outside into this suddenly gorgeous day to shoot around the stadium. before I left, we went back to their house to do a few photos with their dog bacall who was still recovering from anxiety from the earlier storms – she was wore out :)

I am so honored that you asked me to photograph your wedding and even happier that we reconnected – SO excited to be a part of your big day!

  • We love the pictures!!! Thank you so much…..we can’t wait to see you again in January.
