taylor’s senior session

I’ve known taylor for about 6 years – so since she was 12 – yikes, I’m old!! her mother hope is my close friend and also my sanity saving manager at the palette - taylor also works with us there as a server. so as she entered her senior year at snow hill high school, there wasn’t a question as to who would be shooting her senior portraits – I basically insisted! last week, I picked her up -  we went all around town and she was game for anything!  the cool thing about knowing taylor for as long as I have is that I have seen her grow into a confident and vivacious young woman over the past few years – this is a girl who is comfortable in her own skin. not like me when I was her age – I was an insecure mess!

I had a blast on this shoot – taylor knows a little something about photography. in fact, rumor has it that she is thinking of going to MICA(maryland institute, college of art) for photography – I’m a little biased because that’s my alma mater, but I think she would LOVE it  there. she’ll do great anywhere, but my obvious vote is MICA – don’t tell her mom I said so!
