I had been looking forward to this wedding ever since melissa & mike’s e-session - I had soooo much fun with them then and I knew I would again on their wedding day. when I woke up that morning I was a bit dismayed - it was cloudy and crappy and the wedding was being held by the river at shad landing. so I got to melissa’s house and was so relieved that she didn’t have a care in the world! she was as excited as if it were perfect weather - she had even sent a post out on facebook that morning that she and mike were getting married “rain or shine” 
some brides would have been completely freaked out - but melissa just rolled with it which made me love her even more! oh yeah…. did I mention that her wedding dress was orange?! LOVE!!!

thank you guys so much for such a wonderful day!!! after shooting your wedding & brittany & josh’s wedding back to back - you all have a special place in my heart this wedding season - especially your grandmother, I want her to adopt me!!! thank you also for showing me again that “rain or shine” true love is the best thing in the world!
