• my perfect sunday: I love a good lazy Sunday! When the weather is nice, you can find me going out for a run or at the JFX Farmers Market in Baltimore in the morning. The rest of the day is best spent hanging out with my husband, maybe grabbing some brunch, and hanging around the house reading. If I’m unlucky… my Sunday will include yard work. I have a black thumb!
  • my go-to coffeehouse order: Dirty iced chai latte
  • my ben + jerry’s flavor: Gotta go with a classic – Peanut Butter Cup
  • my favorite quote: So this is tough – I love quotes. Is that weird? There are a lot of favorites to chose from, but there are two that I really always tend to think back on: “One of the things I’ve learned the hard way was that it doesn’t pay to get discouraged. Keeping busy and making optimism a way of life can restore your faith in yourself.” – Lucille Ball  and  “Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
  • the best place I’ve ever been and where I want to go: I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to lots of places, including several countries in Europe. However, one of my favorite places was a recent trip to Kauai, Hawaii. We traveled there with friends and had too short of a time, but it was absolutely beautiful and I’d go back in a heartbeat. As for a bucket list place: Ireland
  • my sign and does it fit: I’m a Leo… and in addition to having big hair like a lion, I think it pretty much sums me up, though I tend to be a little more introverted than most other Leos I know.
  • my favorite app: I don’t really use many apps… am I basic if I say Instagram?
  • my favorite part of wedding day: Hands down, the first look. There’s something so special about the moment where the couple is just giddy with excitement and emotion and they get to savor those moments alone, before the big rush of the ceremony. Another favorite moment to capture is just as the couple is finishing the recessional, just about every couple ends up giving each other an excited, “Holy shit, we’re married!” look that I just love!
